Nepal was severely affected by an earthquake on May 25, 2015. More than 8,000 people did not survive the disaster, thousands of people lost their homes and hundreds of schools were destroyed. Education is particularly important now because girls face an even greater risk of being trafficked.
Sinhupalchowk is one of the hardest hit areas in Nepal. The Shree Setika Devi school is located here. 240 children aged 4 to 16 are waiting for their school to be restored.
MSA has invested in the Shree Setika Devi school so that these girls and boys can return to school.
