For us, no one is just a number. We give everyone the service they find pleasant and keep our eyes open to the world we live in. That seems like the most natural thing in the world, but unfortunately that is not the case for everyone.
That is why we support the foundation Free a Girl, of which Arjan Erkel and Yolanthe Sneijder Cabau are well-known advocates. In the hotspots of this world, Free a Girl protects children against violence, exploitation, abuse and discrimination. It liberates children from forced prostitution, reintegrates them and seeks to have human traffickers and pimps prosecuted.
However, nothing comes free. Fighting requires money, a lot of money. As business partners, we were asked to come up with ideas for this. Almost immediately, that resulted in a cookbook. Not just another one, but a unique book that the crème de la crème of culinary Netherlands and Free a Girl immediately embraced. TV chefs Ramon Beuk and Mathijs Vrieze, editor-in-chief of Jamie Magazine, Beanca de Goede, Smulweb Cooking College and numerous filmmakers, photographers, copywriters and printers contributed to it on a voluntary basis.
All ambassadors of Free a Girl: Yolanthe Sneijder Cabau, Wesley Sneijder, Froukje de Both, Jim Bakkum, Bettina Holwerda Bakkum, Arjan Erkel, Vivian Reis, Glennis Grace, John Ewbank and Wimmy Hu (The Red Sun) took on the cooking sessions themselves.
This beautiful cookbook can now be ordered online at Free a Girl Cookbook and the book will be available from November 4th onwards. A preview copy can be found at: Feelgood Food
